I find it ironic that you’d be hard pressed to find an American, let alone a bible thumping version who didn’t pride themselves on being FREE, free of tyranny and of the “wages of sin,” and yet they’ve long used a synonym for freedom - LIBERTY - as a slur for anyone going beyond their set proprieties.

In their desperate desire to paint a reality that keeps others content, they end up creating a web of half-truths and whispered promises, while their own truth remains hidden in the shadows.

Relationships are one of the greatest, and sometimes, THE greatest predictor of success or failure, happiness or agony. Who you choose for a partner or even to be around you on the regular, to have access to you WILL determine your threshold for pleasure and profitability.
